Director of Electrical Engineering

MindTribe is seeking a full-time Director of Electrical Engineering.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• engineering work and client interaction (roughly half time)
• manage, supervise, and mentor MindTribe engineering team
• business development
• internal development
• miscellaneous activities

REQUIREMENTS

• BS or MS Electrical Engineering or similar, 10+ years professional experience
• Versatile skills and technical interests
• Passionate about engineering
• experienced with all major aspects of electrical engineering for a wide variety of embedded devices, in the areas of consumer, medical, and industrial products processors
• experienced with product development process for highly integrated, technology-based products
• ability to play strong engineering leadership roles both externally and internally
• personality and interpersonal skills conducive to building trust-based relationships with clients
• ability to bill at least half time performing engineering work on programs
• experience with business development and managing client relationships for product design companies
• ability to communicate technical concepts and methods clearly to other engineers at MindTribe
