Electrical Engineer - Senior Level

Are you an electrical engineer, but also have experience with software? Interested in being faced with a continual variety of technical challenges and the ability to cross between engineering disciplines? Interested in being instrumental in the growth of a small company?

MindTribe is looking for a full-time electrical engineer, preferably with interest in software as well. Candidate must have proven ability with analog and digital circuit design. Specific responsibilities and role will scale with experience level.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

(%'s given for rough reference—will vary based on your skills and current projects)

70% - Electrical engineering:
Perform electrical engineering as required for client projects. Role will entail designing, building, testing, iterating, and documenting analog and digital circuits, as well as PCB layout. Ideal candidate has significant analog design interest and experience. Most of our designs incorporate a microprocessor, so knowledge of firmware is desirable. Versatility in general is a major plus—interest and/or experience with software would be especially valuable. You will interact with others internally as well as with clients directly.

15% - Engineering project management:
Candidate will manage some of our smaller scale projects which don't have a dedicated project manager.

15% - Everything else:
Help write proposals for new projects, internal company development and scheduling, prospective client meetings, interaction with existing clients

REQUIREMENTS

• BS or MS Electrical Engineering or similar, 3+ years professional experience
• Versatile skills and technical interests
• Passionate about engineering
